Techinnova and its Innogrow acceleration program make a stop in Sicily: they will participate in the seventh edition of BIAT – Borsa dell’Innovazione e dell’Alta Tecnologia, which will be held at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Taormina from 22 to 24 September 2021. RIC3D, supported by the Techinnova incubator, will also be present at the event.
The international event, itinerant in nature, has as its objective the enhancement of the innovative potential of enterprises and research of the regions of Southern Italy – Campania, Calabria, Puglia, Sicily, Abruzzo, Molise, Basilicata, Sardinia. In particular, the event aims to promote the marketing and transfer not only of innovative or high-tech products and services, but also of intangible assets – patents in particular – through the meeting between commercial and technological supply and demand with foreign counterparts.
The event is organized by Agenzia ICE as part of the Export South 2 Plan, a program financed with PON-FESR funds aimed at supporting the international projection of companies with operational headquarters in Southern Italy.
The sectors of interest for the event are:
-Biotechnology;
-Green Economy (circular economy, renewable energy, environment);
-ICT;
-Innovative materials;
-Nanotechnologies;
-Technologies for the Smart City;
-Space Economy.
The BIAT 2021 event will also be an opportunity for Techinnova to meet the operators of Skolkovo Innovation Center, with whom the first contacts have already been initiated during the Innoprom fair held in July 2021, when Techinnova, winning the second prize during the pitch session with the COMMITMENT project, obtained an invitation to the incubation process at Skolkovo Innovation center – today a partner of BIAT 2021.
